What We Believe

Everyone has the right to communicate

For people with no or little speech, talking is up to the people around them who support them to try and interpret on their behalf. In those situations those people supporting them need to have the time and the patience to help make the persons opinions known.

Without communication you can't enjoy an education, have a full social life or even ask for a drink. You are doomed to life as an observer, a fly on the wall. With communication you can become a participant.

Communication is the passing of information from one person to another by any means - signs and gestures, alphabet boards, text messages. All people, whatever their age, education or intelligence need to communicate.
